Rock Paper Scissors

A two-player match played over 1, 3, 5, or 10 rounds.

Start a match

1. One signed-in player creates a room and selects the number of rounds.
2. A second signed-in player joins through the room list, room code, or shared room link.
3. Choices remain disabled until both players are in the room.

Play a round

Each player privately chooses rock, paper, or scissors. Your submitted choice locks until the opponent submits. The server reveals both choices and determines the result only after both are ready.

• Rock beats scissors.
• Scissors beats paper.
• Paper beats rock.
• Matching choices produce a draw.

Win the match

After the selected number of rounds, the player with more round wins wins the match. If both players have the same number of round wins, the match is a draw.

Ratings and leaving

After the final round, the server updates both players' Rock Paper Scissors ELO using the complete match record. Leaving an unfinished match requires confirmation. Once the match is complete, Exit Room returns immediately to the lobby.
